Job Description

We are now looking for a production operator for our client in Västerås!

Responsibilities

Support the shop floor when issues arise.
Assist production in how these issues should be handled.
Drive problem-solving to establish clean point, dirty point, and push for containment.
Collaborate with supplier quality, industrial engineering, logistics, project functions, and other functions to drive deviations forward.
Support overall problem-solving activities via 8D/QRQC processes.
Perform final inspections of products according to final inspection instructions and the paperwork related to the inspections.
Support the project during customer visits regarding quality.
50% in supplier quality series for incoming inspection of mainly large metal parts.
50% in industrial quality for daily error and complaint handling in production plus final inspections.
Supplier parts entering production must be inspected according to an incoming inspection instruction. Results must be documented, forwarded to suppliers, and reviewed until containment and possibly root cause analysis is completed.

Qualifications

Engineering degree
Work experience in incoming inspection
Work experience in problem-solving
Work experience in industrial processes (screwing, shrinking, welding, …)
Fluent in Swedish and English
Strong with IT tools

Desirable (not a requirement) Qualification

Yellow belt in Six Sigma
